Bruins Game 19 Recap:

The Bruins won a game 2-0 and have a two-game winning streak now. Eerie. Okay, well, they pretty much took it to the Leafs tonight and managed to come away with a convincing win. Toronto did play last night, so maybe it’s not wise to be too excited about what we saw, but a shutout win always feels good.

The Bruins spent a lot of time in Toronto’s end, taking a lot of shots but for some reason never getting one into the net. Maybe credit James Reimer for that? It sure felt like the sort of game that he could have “stolen” before Chara finally put a trademark Zdeno Chara slapshot by him late in the 3rd. Instead of heartbreak, the Bruins got two points out of this and a real, live shutout win. Cool! Cool. No stupid penalties either.

Enjoy it while it lasts folks. The next game is on Tuesday against, hmmm…….. the Leafs. Who saw that coming? Not me. Tune in.
