Bruins Game 79 Recap: From mounted, tormented beast to rodeo clown.

Okay, that was ugly but it worked out! I like things that work out. The Bruins couldn’t score to save their lives, let a single goal in and looked ready to drop at least a point at maybe the worst possible time, but they didn’t do that and we’re all the better for it!

Games with lots of scoring chances that don’t pay off always look worse for your side than they probably are. That’s what I like to tell myself anyway. James Reimer stopped a lot of Bruins chances that could’ve been goals instead of near-misses and if just a few of these had gone in, maybe things wouldn’t have been quite so excruciating. That’s what I like to think anyway! I’m trying really hard to think positive. Let’s forget the bad times. Let’s try not to think about how the postseason might turn out either.

No, the Bruins haven’t clinched yet. With six possible points in the standings remaining, it would be really great if they won out. Yes sir, it would. The next Bruins game is on Wednesday in Washington against the Capitals. The Bruins are still hoping to vault over the Caps, or maybe even the Red Wings! That sure would be nice. Tune in!
