Bruins Game 32 Recap: It’s almost as good as regulation winning, right?

The Wild aren’t as good as Nashville. But the Bruins were playing in hostile territory on the second night of back-to-back games against a probable playoff team, so the odds were still against them right? But they held their own for the second night in a row and actually managed a victory instead of a moral victory with a point tossed in. This wasn’t without it’s issues of course. Nikalas Svedberg had to hold the fort for most of the second period against what was a fairly sustained Minnesota attack. The Bruins blew their lead late in spite of the goaltender’s work, and it took some good fortune in overtime for everything to work out.

But it beats a loss, right? Yeah, it beats a loss by a mile. David Krejci was back tonight too, even though he didn’t factor into any of the scoring. It’s good to see him back after an injury-plagued season like the one the Bruins have had so far. Maybe a sign of……. hope? Let’s not speak too soon here. The next B’s game is Friday night in Winnipeg. If the Bruins actually take points from every game on this trip, I’ll be impressed. Delighted too.
