Bruins Game 26 Recap: 2 Games, 1 Goal.

The Bruins offense just keeps letting them down lately. There’s no other way to describe it. Sure they held the Kings down, but scoring zero goals doesn’t really help anyone. Niklas Svedberg played a great game in net, but without offensive support the Bruins might as well have played the entire game with six skaters and an empty net because they couldn’t accomplish a thing all night.

It’s not like they didn’t look capable of scoring, they just didn’t. And effort doesn’t really count on the scoreboard. Maybe things’ll improve when the team’s health does? Or maybe they need to look for more offense next year? I hate the idea of talking about next year when this season is by no means lost, but the offense is just so bad right now that you have to wonder if it has any hope of ever recovering with the roster built the way it is now.

Well, whatever. The Bruins get a night off before Thursday’s game in San Jose. Be there.
