Red Sox Game 38 Recap: So baby’s got a little (come)back. Hunch, that is.

Highest WPA: David Ortiz, .338 (4-4, 2 HR, 4 RBI)
Lowest WPA: Jake Peavy, -.385 (4.1 IP, 9 H, 6 ER, K, 2 BB, HR)

I hear what you’re saying. “Goog, it’s only the seventh inning! You can’t post the recap now! You don’t even know who’s gonna win!” Pfft. Nonsense. After coming back from down 6 to 1, it’s obvious that the Red Sox are going to score again, turn it over to their good pen, and take game one of this series.

Unless John Farrell decides not to use his closer because of the possibility of an eventual save situation, thereby leading to Burke Badenhop giving up the game-winning run. Crap. That could totally happen.

Well, if it does, you know what to do. In fact, I’m just going to put the requisite tags on this post, so no matter what happens, we’re covered. Good night!
