Bruins Game 62 Recap: Bruins Cap Washington.

There wasn’t really much drama in that one, was there? Washington got themselves into a bit of a brawl in Philadelphia last night and weren’t really able to muster much against a Bruins team that’s suddenly righted itself after the break, and that’s all there is to that. For some reason the Bruins had never beaten Braden Holtby in regulation before tonight. One Tuukka Rask shutout and that changed. With the loss the Capitals remained out of the last playoff spot in the east while the Bruins remain first in the Atlantic Division and second overall in the conference.

Next up are the Lightning on Saturday night. Tampa is still reeling from the stupidity of their GM but has also been bolstered (I don’t think anyone knows what that word really means) by the return of Steven Stamkos. It should be a fun game, tune in. I’m telling you to.
