Orioles starter Miguel Gonzalez was Red Sox property last year. Bet you didn’t know that, did you? Probably because I forgot to tell you. Holding the Red Sox to two runs in six-and-a-third innings is only appropriate for someone the team apparently gave up on last year. This game was really kind of a snoozefest, the only real highlight came when some dummy in the front row of the right field corner seats grabbed a Daniel Nava double that could’ve been a triple and then did his best to look shocked that everyone was mad at him. Other than that one moment, the Sox went down in fairly mundane fashion and the team failed to gain revenge on the Orioles by helping the Yankees. Wait, is that a good thing? I’m not sure….
