Game 149 Preview: More views than the game itself.

Things just get worse and worse for the Rays. First they lose to the Red Sox, which is bad enough for a team that has dreams of contending, and then they fall farther behind New York and Baltimore.  Thanks to the monsoon currently drifting through the northeast, the Yankees were rained out against Toronto. The Orioles are currently in the domed confines of Seattle’s Safeco Field, so they won’t miss a beat. As for Tampa, they send Jeremy Helickson to the mound against Felix Doubront. We all know that Doubront has had a fairly rough go of it this year.  He did have a good outing against the Yankees last time out though, and the Rays’ offense is nothing like New York’s. After last night’s sloppy outing, this is Tampa’s chance to turn things around and not only win but prove that they aren’t giving up on this season. I’m sure that if they had fans, they’d appreciate it.
